Surrounded by woodland, Rathmullan House is just a few steps from a sandy beach on the banks of Lough Swilly. This beautiful, family-run property offers an award-winning restaurant, a tennis court and indoor pool. Locally sourced food is served in the Cook and Gardener restaurant, which offers lake views and also uses produce from the hotel’s walled garden.

Having already chosen RoomMaster as their reservation system Rathmullan’s management team felt they required a new Point Of Sale system that would tightly integrate with RoomMaster to give bill-to-room capability with touch-screen technology and hand held ordering. Mark Wheeler knew that choosing an advanced technology solution would enhance their already excellent customer care. In the search of the best solution Rathmullan House evaluated several different vendors before deciding on ICR Touch from Alpha Business Solutions.

“We were seeking a package that would be easy to use, would provide good reports and would be well supported,” Mark says. “In our view, ICR’s reporting, flexibility and functionality are on a par if not superior to the leading systems in the market. “

The system installed by Alpha includes new touchscreen terminals running ICR Touch Touchpoint software, six iPads using Pocket Touch for handheld ordering, Touch Kitchen for controlling order preperation and Touch Office for stock control and reporting.
